6 Hours
The purpose of this course is to provide brokers with instructional materials on the rules, policies and regulations governing the real estate industry in the state of Texas.

This course meets the requirement for 6 hours of mandatory continuing education in broker responsibility.

3 Hours
TThis is a 4-hour course that teaches the fundamentals of real estate contracts in the state of Texas. This course reviews the basics of real estate contracts and forms. It also discusses the deceptive trade practices act, presenting offers and how to create a contract. Additionally, it covers common contract mistakes and ends with a practice contract-based scenario.

Effective 2/1/2021 all Texas sales agents and brokers are required to complete at least three hours in contract-related coursework as part of the 18 hours of continuing education (CE) required to renew a license.

6 Hours
Successful Texas real estate license brokers are conversant with the latest TREC rules and best practices for the Texas real estate industry. The 2021 Broker Responsibility course comprises the Texas Real Estate Commission's timely content covering topics that affect real estate brokers and other license holders in the state. Scenarios and case studies are woven throughout the content to illustrate practical applications of pertinent points.

This six-hour course, which reviews a range of rules that govern broker responsibility, offers the latest information on policies and procedures that TREC has identified as being critical to providing compliant brokerage supervision and exceptional brokerage services to consumers. It also meets Texas's mandatory requirement for CE renewing a license for brokers who sponsor sales agents, designated brokers of a business entity, and license holders who are delegated supervisors of one or more license holders. In addition, any license holder may take this course, which counts for six hours of MCE elective credit.
